Who Can Get Married?
According to the Clark County Website: “Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, and no nearer of kin than second cousins or cousins of half-blood, and not having a husband or wife living.”
Minors 16 or older may marry with consent of a parent or guardian. The minor will need to provide a birth certificate displaying the name of the parent and the parent will have to provide proof of identification. In the case of guardianship, guardian will need to provide a certified copy of the court-ordered guardianship papers. No photocopies are permitted for any of this documentation. You can save yourself some time by completing the Marriage License Pre-Application. Your pre-application is valid for 60 days. Once you have completed it, you can take your reference number and identification to the Express Window at one of the locations above.

Don’t worry if you make a mistake. The clerk can correct it before you sign your license. The information entered on your application needs to match the identification form you provide.
The Fee for a Marriage License is $77. Both parties getting married must show up to the County Clerk’s Office to get the Marriage License. Bring your registration number and identification to complete the process. Payment may be made via cash, traveler’s check, money order, or credit card. Personal or business checks are not accepted.
No blood test is required and there is no waiting period.
